Oakhurst Achievements

This award is given to the local PTA units that focus on the health and safety of children by keeping up-to-date on health and safety topics, participate in countywide health and safety events, and offer an effective health and safety related program or event for their school.

We held several events/programs:  for countywide programs we participated in Walk to School Day and Red Ribbon Week; at our school the Internet Safety program at the general meeting; as well as participating in the county council health and safety fair.
